Mercurial NYC is the work of designer, Miranda Watson. Miranda grew up in Western Canada, dividing her time between the mountains, the lakes, and the cities. After moving to New York in 2010 she found new inspiration in New York City’s iconic Art Deco architecture & its geometric shapes. These themes, paired with her curiosity towards nature & the comfort of its imperfections, create a world of dichotomies typical in her design aesthetic.
A shape inspired by ancient Hellenic period rings with an image used throughout history to signify protection. This hefty ring is hand carved in wax and cast into recycled brass before being dipped in 14k gold. Size 6 is ready to ship.
